Selene is licensed under the MIT/X11 license, which means you can use it in both open-source and proprietary software. If you or your company plans to use Selene commercially, that's fine. It is not compulsory, but letting us know if you use Selene would be really cool!
Anyone is welcome to fork on GitHub or do a pull like so:
When you have modifications you'd like to be adopted in the "main" tree, send me pull request or, if you have not hosted your code on GitHub, send an email to selene |shift-2| ntlabs.org. Patches in diff format are also accepted.
Suggestions
Areas that need work in Selene include, but are not limited to:
- The number of flags at the moment is limited. Help improve flexibility!
- ValidatorBase may need a way to report why something is valid/invalid back to the user.
- New widgets, or overrides for types that are already covered.
- New frontends? There are a lot of toolkits out there.
Resources
To see which widget or presenter might need work, refer to the status matrix page. Ideas for new widgets and presenters are also encouraged. There's also a flags reference for your convenience.
